Welcome to BOAG

The Building Officials Association of Georgia is an Association of over 200 members primarily representing local government Building Code Officials and those involved in building design, construction, testing and research of the code industry. The Building Officials’ Association of Georgia (BOAG) has been in existence for over 50 years and has grown since 1958 from 12 members to nine (9) chapters across the State of Georgia. It fulfills much the same objectives as originally proposed; consistent Code interpretation; a forum for discussion; education, standards of Code knowledge and since 1997, a technical certification program for our membership.
